60/40 split when you bring the audience. Your lesson can generate consulting leads — yours to keep. Revenue share on lesson sales, subscriptions, and bookings.
Optional Upsells
Offer 1-on-1 mentorship, consulting bookings, or digital downloads. Revenue from these is tracked and shared per your agreement.
Featured Placement
For an additional fee, your lesson gets pinned at the top of its category, featured on the homepage, and promoted in weekly digest emails.
You Own Your Brand
Your expertise stays yours
Mentors retain full ownership of their name, reputation, and off-platform leads. You can teach the same topic on other platforms or in private coaching. We get a license to host and promote — not ownership of your intellectual property.
Legal Framework
Clear. Fair. Transparent. Your contract will spell out:
Content Ownership
Video, audio, slides, and transcripts produced for this partnership are owned by the Mentor. Focal Point receives a non-exclusive license to host, promote, and distribute the content on its platform.
License vs. Ownership
The Mentor retains full ownership of intellectual property. Focal Point is granted a license — not an ownership transfer — to host and promote the content for the duration of this agreement.
Hosting Duration
Content may be hosted on the Focal Point platform for the duration of this agreement. Upon termination, content will be removed within 30 days.
Exclusivity
This agreement is non-exclusive. Mentors may teach the same topic on other platforms, in private coaching, or through any other channel without restriction.
Revenue & Payouts
Revenue is calculated from paid course enrollments and mentorship bookings. Payouts are processed monthly, with the Mentor receiving their agreed percentage of gross sales.
Leads & Testimonials
All off-platform leads, testimonials, reviews, and consulting relationships generated from a Mentor's presence on the platform belong solely to the Mentor.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, content is removed from the platform and the Mentor retains all ownership rights.
Refunds & Disputes
Refunds are handled at the platform's discretion. In cases of chargebacks or fraud, the associated payout may be withheld. Both parties agree to cooperate in dispute resolution.
